Itinerary
Day 1
Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Nameri (240km/5hrs)
Upon arrival at Guwahati airport or railway station, our representative will receive you and guide you to a designated vehicle. Board the vehicle; you will be transferred to Nameri (200Km/5hr). After reaching Nameri, check in at hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 2
Nameri to Dirang (160Km/6hrs)
Early morning we will take you to Nameri National Park. Go bird watching and spot them in their vicinity, with more than 300 species of birds which also shelters rare and endangered “White Winged Wood Duck” also catch tiger in action as Nameri tiger reserve is under Project Tiger, it also homes wide verity of reptiles, fishes and mammals. Post breakfast, for adventure seekers and offbeat travellers go tracking and raft down Jia Borali River (smooth water rafting). After lunch will drive uphill to Dirang, entering Arunachal Pradesh “the land of raising sun”. The place greets you with breathtaking valleys, misty rivers and stunning waterfall. After this enjoyable and memorable tour, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3
Dirang to Tawang (145Km/7hrs)
Post breakfast; explore Dirang small hill station in west Kameng district. Its spectacular landscape and beauteous nature will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul. We will visit Kalachakra Gompa also refered as Dirang Monastery and perceive the serene land. Witness kiwi orchids, then to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old and have an excellent view of the surrounding. Later precede to Tawang, with mountain curve the river Kameng flow along. Witness Sela – Pass, world second highest motor able road, with bright coloured flags fluttering all around at an altitude of 13,700ft. Know about Jaswant Garh memorial-cum-mandir. Enjoy spectacular Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall), 100m height. After this pulsating and soul – stirring journey have a warm and comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 4
Tawang Sightseeing (70km/6hrs)
Post breakfast have a holly visit to Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), Asia’s second largest and India’s largest Buddhist Monastery which was build about 350 years ago in 17thCentury. Explore age old artefacts related to Tawang Monastery and Mompa people of Tawang. Get a picturesque view of Tawang Township in the heart of sky-piercing mountains. Then we move on to The Tawang War Memorial, a beautiful stupa build in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 1962 Sino-Indian war. Take home local carpet woven by local ladies, Mompa traditional mask as a token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium. In the evening enjoy light and sound show. After this return to your hotel for overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 5
Around Tawang Sightseeing (150km/7hrs)
Post breakfast, start your day with breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass about 37km away from Tawang, it is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, and Naghula Lake, which will surely make your day. After this return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 6
Tawang to Bomdila (185Km/8hrs)
Post breakfast, we will move on to Bomdila. Pay a visit to Bomdila Monastery, which was established in the year of 1965. Explore over 5000 orchid verities including some rarest species of orchid in Tipi Orchidarium. This will be shown to you on the next day, en-route to airport drop. In Bomdila, have a spectacular view from Bomdila View Point, witness impeccable beauty of Bomdila. In the evening enjoy local market. Afterwards retune to your hotel for the overnight stay in Bomdila.
Day 7
Bomdila to Guwahati, Airport Drop (350km/8hrs)
Bomdila to Guwahati, Airport Drop Post breakfast, depart for Guwahati. Finally we will drop you by Guwahati Airport in accordance and convenience of your departure time, with sweet memories.
