Bomdila is an attractive place for summer vacation. It is located at a height of 8000 ft above sea level. It is a peaceful destination for a family outing. From there you can see the snow-packed Himalayan peaks and clearer views of Kangto and Gorichen Peaks. If you are an adventurous person, then you can go for a trek through the hills of different levels. The most important art and craft comfortable spot is Bomdila Monastery which is rich in art and craft. There is Local Craft Centre which displays samples of the local craft of Bomdila.

There is a famous place which you can visit Sessa Orchid Sanctuary where 2600 orchids of 80 species are cultivated. This place is at a distance of 270km from Itanagar and also known to be the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh. It is pure heaven for nature lovers. In addition to theat Siang River, the main tributary of Brahmaputra flows by Pasighat. It is Home to river Brahmaputra which flows down from Tibet.
