Arunachal Pradesh is called “land of the dawn-lit mountains.” It is Located in the easternmost part of the Indian Territory. Arunachal Pradesh shares boundaries the states of Assam and Nagaland to the south and shares international borders with Bhutan in the west and Myanmar in the east and is divided from China in the north by the McMahon Line.

Tawang
If you want to know about the historical sites, then Tawang is the ideal place for you. It is located at the height of about 3048m. It is also known for many important and beautiful monasteries and also famous for the birthplace of Dalai Lama. It has many types of scenery to make your trip a picturesque one. This area is important for Buddhist monks. Tawang Monastery the most popular for the Buddhists and natural beauty wrapped in the scent of spirituality. Monastery in Tawang is around 113 feet long and 80 feet wide. The interior of the building is beautiful, and there is 28 feet high golden statue of Lord Buddha is worshiped here. There are a beautiful orchid sanctuary and the Tipi Orchid Sanctuary which is the ideal place to visit.
Indo-China border is also a significant tourist spot in Tawang. There are some important places you must visit in Tawang are Jaswant Garh, Tawang War Memorial, Tawang Craft Centre, Brahma-dung-Chung Ani Gompa, Urgelling Gompa. This city presents some architectural rich wonders. The Ita Fort is made of special bricks and is significant from a socio-cultural point. The legendary Ganga Lake which is also known as Gyakar Sinai is a prominent picnic spot in Itanagar It is 6 km away from the city. There is a museum which is recently opened on the name of our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru Museum. It shows the indigenous tribal culture of Arunachal.

Ziro
Ziro is a place for trekking in Arunachal Pradesh. It is located on a plateau which is the most beautiful hill stations in Arunachal Pradesh. Ziro is the peace seeker’s paradise. Ziro is an old town in Arunachal Pradesh. This is home to the Apa Tani tribe. Ziro is famous for its Pine Hills and rice fields. The climate of Ziro is mild during the year, and it is comfortable to travel all year round. There are many other attractive tourist spots like Kardo Hills, Talley Valley, Talley Wildlife Sanctuary are the best of them.
Ziro Putu is a place from where we can see a bird’s eye view of the full Ziro Valley. You can also go to Shiva Lingam at Kardo Hills which are 25 ft high and 22 ft wide. Talley Valley isn32 km away from Ziro and it is the best place for trekking route. In this track, you will travel by bamboo, orchids, ferns, and forests. Also, Karing, Subansiri, Sipu, and Pange rivers flow through them. It is home to the endangered snow leopard and it is also home of many other rare and interesting animals making it a wildlife lover’s happiness.
Bomdila
Bomdila is an attractive place for summer vacation. It is located at a height of 8000 ft above sea level. It is a peaceful destination for a family outing. From there you can see the snow-packed Himalayan peaks and clearer views of Kangto and Gorichen Peaks. If you are an adventurous person, then you can go for a trek through the hills of different levels. The most important art and craft comfortable spot is Bomdila Monastery which is rich in art and craft. There is Local Craft Centre which displays samples of the local craft of Bomdila.
There is a famous place which you can visit Sessa Orchid Sanctuary where 2600 orchids of 80 species are cultivated. Other than sceneries and views making the area a visual treat for the eyes, wrapped around in a cool breeze and pleasant climate, the area will offer you some spots such as temples and wildlife sanctuaries. There are temples for Buddhist and Hindu.
Pasighat
This place is at a distance of 270km from Itanagar and also known to be the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh. It is pure heaven for nature lovers. In addition to theat Siang River, the main tributary of Brahmaputra flows by Pasighat. It is Home to river Brahmaputra which flows down from Tibet. The mountain peaks are covered with snow and there is a variety of flora and fauna present which increases the beauty of the place.
Pasighat-Jengging-Yingkiong-Tuting Tourist Circuit is the main attractions of Arunachal Pradesh. If you are looking for adventures activities, then Siang River is a prime destination to enjoy water sports like boating, angling and especially river rafting. You must visit the Daying Ering Wild Life Sanctuary which is a popular sightseeing spot in Pasighat. It is also the meeting point of Dihang and Lohit Rivers with the Brahmaputra. Roing
Roing is a valley which is situated on the bank of Dibang River. Nehru Van Udyan is a wonderful forest park set on the riverbank at Deopani. When you are going from Roing to Bismaknagar, you can see the new orange orchards. Mayudia pass steals the attention with snow coverage for the most part of the year.
Changlang
Changlang is one of the District of Arunachal Pradesh which shares an international boundary with Myanmar (Burma). Changlang has a known for uniqueness in its attitude, nature, and environment that provides it a different identity. It covers with green surroundings, pleasant environment, and picturesque sceneries. You must visit the Namdampa National Park and enjoy nature’s blessings to the area. It is a small town on the way from Ziro to Along. Daporijo is famous for its rich variety of flora and fauna and its ethnic diversity. Bhalukpong is 56 km away from Tezpur Town. It is Located in West Kameng District. It is a historical place where you can look days of the Mahabharata. There dense forest and rinsed by the Kameng River, it is a popular picnic spot.
